Description:

As the (Junior) Social Content Manager you will be working closely with the Content and Sales department. The purpose of the role is to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy with the objective of growing each channel in terms of followers and engagement, to ultimately drive revenue for the business. You should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our websites through multiple social media channels, we would like to make you part of our team.

 

What the job entails:

  • Design social media strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Set-up new accounts on relevant social media channels
  • Manage, create and publish original, high-quality content
  • Administer all company social media accounts to ensure up-to-date content
  • Create a content plan for all of our social media channels
  • Liaise with our sales department and content department to ensure content is informative, appealing and revenue driven
  • Facilitate user-website communication (respond to queries, get reviews and organise chats and Q&A sessions)
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on traffic and company KPI
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimisation
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
  • You are in charge of integrating and using social pixels
  • You are responsible to assure legal compliance on all social media platforms and markets

 

You must:

  • At least two years of proven work experience as a Social media strategist or Social media manager
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content or choose existing content to meet them
  • A proven capacity to manage engaging content for key social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter etc.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Accustomed to working with KPI and ambitious targets
  • Accustomed to working in teams and with external suppliers
  • English spoken and written (business proficiency)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated with a high level of ambition
  • Ability to deliver quality despite many parallel tasks ongoing
  • High analytical skills with an interest in details
  • Proficient in Google Drive and MS Office applications
  • High social skills for working in teams
  • Flexible and rapidly adaptable to new situations
  • You are ready to live in/move to Malta and work in our modern offices in Sliema
